Jason and the Argonauts is the joining of front man, Jason Loomis, his original songs, and one of the best rhythm sections in St. Louis,. Phil Ring, Nick Jost and Jerry Mazzuca. With influences from Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer and Sufjan Stevens to Deftones, Pearl Jam, and Tool, the musical influences of Jason and the Argonauts are broad. All of the members of this band having been trained in the intense jazz performance program at SIUE, the musicianship of this band is of the sort and quality rarely seen in local bands today. Combined with chemistry that has been building for 3 years, the catchy/creative melodies and musicianship of Jason and the Argonauts create a unique musical experience that will leave you begging for more.
