Biography

Jason James is a fresh innovative pop project that is both contemporary and retrospective.

Jason's E.P 'Armour' resurrects 80's pop culture with its sharp entrancing synths that were once seen in groundbreaking acts such as Depeche Mode, Bowie, and Erasure.

The debut E.P is also in time with the current fresh Dance trend. Jason experiments with all variations of Dance from House to Dub Step.

The project maintains pop authenticity depicting the angst, attitude and strength which has previously been seen in more modern artists such as Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
Jason's music divulges his relationships with music, people and society, his music is both relatable and relevant to broad spectrum of people. In short this is something original which has been previously unseen by a male artist before.

In 2011 Jason Performed at Manchester Gay Pride and as part of the City Showcase Festival. Jason also has performed at a variety of pop shows at some of London's biggest venues. In 2012 Jason James plans to achieve even more by launching his first music video in spring whilst also performing and many more shows and festivals.

Jason James' music is power pop at its best and makes a respective salute to one of the most definitive era's of pop whilst also giving you a glimpse into the future of POP music!
