Bio
I was born in Miami but raised in Tampa, FL; I formed a rock band “Silvereye” in 1998 with my brother Jonny Martinez and best friends David Falquez and Andy O’Keeffe. From 2000-2001 “Silvereye” recorded two albums worth of material and soon broke up. I knew that music was my calling, but I got swept up in the idea that money was more important. So I started a mortgage and real estate company in 2005, MM Financial, and was determined to become a millionaire. I was involved in worldly pursuits trying to find fulfillment. My marriage, my family, and my company were falling apart. In 2008 I hit rock bottom and didn’t see a reason to live. God reached down and turned my life around, and told me to do what I was created for; to be a light in the darkness, using music as my platform. In 2010 I obtained the old “Silvereye” recordings from the studio. As I listened to the tracks I realized that the songs were still true today; making them timeless. I then got permission to release the songs under my name.
