Biography
Dont be fooled by his shy polite character off stage,
Jason Ryan has an ability to perform to any crowd or occasion.
With over ten years experience he knows how to work a crowd.
He has been involved in leading roles in professional musical theatre,
Employed as an entertainer on an island resort. Sung with various Acapella Groups Vox Montage, Brisbane River City Clippers and in a barbershop Quartet as well as being involved with a number of different bands, duos and as a solo artist.
Having been bought up on country music with his mum playing such artists like Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Don Williams and Emylou Harris it was only natural that Jason would grow to love country music. He first picked up a guitar at the age of 13 and it didnt take him long to start writing his own songs.
His Debut album Long Summers Day will be released April 2006 with 12 songs of his own.
Jason was also a Star Maker Finalist in 2005, Gympie Muster Grand finalist in 2003, Winner of the 2004 Male vocal Qld Champion of Champions and a graduate of the Australian CMAA College of Country Music for 2005.
