Combining classical guitar harmonies and searching lyrics, Jason captures a unique sound that gently captures and persuades the listeners’ mood. Remaining true to his roots found in Country and Folk, his rhythmic style and passionate vocals echo the emotion of personal experiences, taken reflectively from his own life.
Jason Tapp was born and raised in Waikato, New Zealand. Finding passion in music, Jason frequently shares his talent freely, enhancing atmosphere in regional markets, non-profit events, and festivals. Jason’s deeply loving, peaceful, and insightful nature is a blessing to many, especially his friends. Jason has recently overcome a 6 month battle with cancer, and undergoing recovery at present is returning to his composition and playing.
