Bio

Jason Thomas was born May 9, 1974 in Abilene, Texas
In 2004 Jason Thomas attended and performed at a songwriters forum in South Florida and met Sony/Tree music executive Tom Long. Jason ended up with a Nashville based Indie Record Deal, and spent over a year recording songs for the album. Tom and Jason hit it off, and have developed a wonderful friendship, as well as a great working relationship during that time. Tom eventually co-produced a 2008 single to National Radio called My Old Man, which broke the chart in the top 100. In February 2005, JASON THOMAS began to consult with music industry pro Larry Boster. Larry Boster has had success in all aspects of the touring, & production side of the music business, and is currently is the Lighting Producer and Set Designer for Brooks & Dunn. In October 2005, Jason Thomas released his debut single Somebody Down Here Loves Me (By Tom Shipiro) to National Radio, and by January 2006 Jason’s single was being played on radio stations across the world. Larry Boster decided in February 2006 that Jason Thomas should be introduced to long time friend and music insider Everett Lybolt. Everett has been in the music business for many years and has managed some other artist including All-4-One & Clint Black. By Summer of 2006 the single had reached #61 on the Music Row Chart. Jason made the decision to pursue the music business full time and in October of 2006 Jason had moved to the Nashville area.
In 2008 an opportunity was presented to work with Nashville songwriter Randy Boudroux, who had penned numerous hits including Broken Hartsville for Joe Nichols. Randy wrote and produced a song titled The Journey, which is ready for release in 2009.
Jason Thomas has opened for such artists as Trick Pony, Clay Walker, Jake Owens and Confederate Railroad and has performed for 2 years at the Homestead Main Street Celebration for the End Of Season Nascar Party in Homestead, Florida.
