For Jaume Vilaseca Quartet, jazz is not a style, not a dogma. It's something totally alive, it is communication in its purest form, an open and committed to the music and improvisation.
In his earlier work (Fotografíes Dindi Records 1999; Aquí i allà Dismedi 2002 y World songs Discmedi 2004 ) compositions of Vilaseca invite some of those musics of the world which have always been and will remain the property of the people, a genuine and comprehensive jam session.
