Bio
Javelina was formed in a warehouse in South Philadelphia by 4 friends, all of whom have been playing in various punk and metal bands for over 15 years. The goal was to play heavy aggressive music that pays more attention to good, catchy songwriting than whatever trend is popular. Our influences include classic British Heavy Metal (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead), 70's and 80's punk and hardcore (Ramones, The Misfits, Cro Mags, COC) and southern doom/sludge (Eyehategod, Buzzov*en, Cavity).
