Javier Delgado

BandFolkAcoustic

I started playing the guitar at the age of 9. Ever since I went from listening to the beatles to Elliott Smith I became inspired to write songs that were honest and a good expression of who I really am. A form of poetry in a melody. I'm proficient in banjo, drums, bass, and mandolin. I am now 20.

Biography

My biggest influence that led me this far are: Elliott Smith, Radiohead, The Beatles, David Bazaan, Bright Eyes, and Neva Dinova.

Lyrics

Passing Train

Written By: Javier Delgado

Your love is just a passing train
Truth and lies with you is just the same
I wish I could be with you if I was this way
But I fell in love again and it's taking me away

If I was a cigarette would you be my lighter
If I was the salt would you be the ocean water
You kept your love when I thought you were someone
All I wanted you to do was to lay with me under the sun

So please take me on this train
I love the feelings of my suffering
Yeah, it's nice

Listen to these pretty words that I am telling you
If you can believe me I guess I am telling the truth
I wish I could be with you if I was this way
But I fell in love again and it's taking me away

So please take me on this train
I love the feelings of my suffering
Yeah, it's nice

It's nice
