Javono began performing gospel and classic soul hits at the age of four. Coming from the city of San Jose California, Fans of Javono’s music have described it as agreeable and authentic, blending hip hop and soul in a way that captivates the hearts and minds of his audience.
Javono is currently collaborating with various producers creating songs that are marketable to a mainstream audience. With goals of appearing on screen and in theatre, Javono plans to get the maximum amount of exposure possible to reach his audience.
Javono’s early years were spent centered around music when he attended Natomas Performing Arts Academy. There he struggle with his peers and studies resulting in his dismissal from the Academy. “ I was different from the other kids in school and didn’t always fit in. Even, in high school some of the In crowd kids would tease me and say insulting things about me.” However, Javono still enjoyed music and found friends he had things in common with. “ I remember from Elementary school all the way to High school I only had a hand full of friends, one of which happened to be one of the most popular guys in the neighborhood. Which was great cause that’s how I found myself hanging out with the other cool kids. During high school Javono performed in various talent shows and theatrical productions. He also found a very strong interest in gospel music with a touring gospel choir at local churches. “I enjoyed feeding the hearts of my audience with a voice of love, joy, and pain.” After High school Javono began touring in Japan and since then toured in Reno, Vegas, Los Angeles and other Asian countries and has lived in multiple cities . “After High School I became something like a backpacker, traveling from place to place taking little gigs here and there.”
Now, Javono is interested in networking with producers, artists, and songwriters to create music that expresses who he is today. “When I go into the studio, I love to work on catchy material that has the potential to impact a massive audience. I just want to make great music that speaks to the average person out there, something they can agree with and enjoy.”
