We're JAWBONE - a "retro-rock-and-soul-a-billy-swing" band and revue! We have all been members of various original Bklyn/Manhattan bands for years - but we now play as JAWBONE regularly (as in every weekend) throughout Queens, Manhattan, Long Island and Brooklyn doing 4 hour all-nighters for folks - but we also do 1 hour showcases of our original music. We play good old "authentic" early roots rock and roll/rockabilly/rhythym & blues based music that no one else really does - and we have 4 part harmonies and really good players - and we sometimes do more of a camp/over the top/psycho-oldies act - With great music, a great look/vibe, and an entertaining show.
Our links show more of our standard stuff - but trust me, we could do an interesting show for you. We just came off two really strong gigs in July (The Apollo Theater and Union Hall), we have shows coming up at the National Underground and the Bitter End this fall, and we would love to work with you......
