John Breaux Aka Jay Da Wizard Is a Rapper/Songwriter/DJ/Dancer Born And Raised In Lafayette ,Louisiana With A Hip-Hop Style Of His Own.Ranging From Originals To Cover Remixes Of Popular Hits From Multiple Genres Bringing Vibe Conscious And High Energy Performances With Some Added Live Instrumentation To His Tracks which He Performs With Either a DJ Or Live Band. Jay Da Wizard Currently Has One Mixtape Titled Who Am I And 3 Singles Out 1.All I Need Is Music Ft. Lyrical Wolf,Trap God & Just Like Music Ft. Sammy Holbrook & Ramsey Leigh And Is Working on another Mixtape along with his first debut album set to release in 2018. Wizard Is Constantly On The Move Building His Name Within and Outside Of His Community, He Has Opened For Migos,Lil Baby,Blac Youngsta,Tammy Rivera,Devin The Dude As A Solo Artist & Also Drowning Pool & Janet Gardner With The Other La Band So Far. For the last decade, Jay Da Wizard has built a foundation of artistic talent that is not "shocking" to those that know him. "He was Writing songs and dancing even before He could get into the clubs. He used to just dance in front of a few places in downtown (Lafayette), and he gained acknowledgement as 'The Dancing Guy.' Once he turned 18, he started going in the clubs." Wizard's first official gig was also at 18, hosting at "Alley Cats," the Karaoke section at Graham Central Station. "I love music and I watched the other hosts entertaining the public. I was shy, so I thought that doing this would get me out of my box." A year and a half later, another opportunity started when DJ Miyagi And Sammy Holbrook took him under their wing That Brought him into hosting karaoke events. Wizard learned how to go from just a laptop for Karaoke to the turntables. "The DJing and the Karaoke Hosting got me interested in many other styles of music, and I wanted to play them, not just sing along. I would see other MCs on TV or hear them on the radio, Thats When I Realized Music was my calling and started to pursue my dream of becoming a Rapper." 

In 2009, Wizard founded The Fountain of Youth Dance Crew, later called TruVision Dance Crew, which garnered attention across the Gulf Coast. The music knowledge from hosting paid off with the formation of Free Candy Party Band a cover band formed by former band mate Sidney Braud After that run was over I was down, but I wanted to give it another try." This led to Remnant Souls, a band that combined covers with original material. But that felt incomplete too. "I wanted to pursue my songs, So i started hosting my own multi genre talent shows networking with other artists to build a name for myself which i have been doing ever since and i continue to build on the platform i made for myself.

His debut album (Wizard Of Barz) will be the result of that pursuit. A combination of various styles, genres, and aproaches (like his career) put together to entertain. "I feel that my music can be theraputic to people in various situations. Nobody really listens to one form of music. Nobody really sticks to one thing over and over. So I wanted to give various ways to show love, to show success, to show fun and a good time." The entire album is Different. "Bring Me Down" brings a "Alternative Rock/Hip-Hop" approach to give the listener an insight on Wizard's Life. "Lies" uses Hip Hop to discuss The Pain Of a bad relationship. "Tattoo" explains the impact a special someone has on Wizard's mind, while "Everything I Ever Wanted" is an ode to giving and receiving love. With musical and vocal features from the likes of Smoov Ras (of Smoov Ras & The Reflections), Producer Kaedron Hall(Kromatik Beats), Guitarist Chad Fouquier, and others, This Album Will show the various forms of Creativity Wizard has presented to audiences for almost 10 years, now in full audio form. Maison Fou Enternainment has the honor of engineeing (through accomplished engineer Justin Este) and releasing this album New Year Day 2019.
