Vancouver-based, Jay Gavin is an extraordinarily gifted singer-songwriter. He makes emotionally generous songs straight from the dusty basement of his soul, inspired by the likes of John Prine, Hayes Carll and Fred Eaglesmith.
His band The Tired Sunday Choir features a wall of local talent. Seamlessly fusing the best elements of bluegrass, folk and indie rock, their performances are notoriously wildly fun, peanut-throwing good times.
The Tired Sunday Choir was born as an ever-evolving collective of like-minded musicians to help Jay share his often humorous, sometimes poignant songs.
