Bio
Jay started taking piano lesions at age 5. Before that he sang popular tunes with his sister playing the piano and started playing the melodies by ear. During 12 years of lesions, Jay started writing pop piano tunes. He continued writing in college, played with his band at the local coffee house, and took advanced classical piano performance with a minor in Music. Besides classical, his influences were pop, rock and then jazz. Always one to keep up with the current trends, Jay has blended hip hop elements into his sound. While not a great singer in the classical sense, Jay is also doing is own vocals with loads of emotion on demos.
