Bio
At the young age of nine Jayde York convinced her parents to let her take singing lessons. A few years later she started working with renowned vocal coach Roger Love and continued to do so for the next ten years. At 19 Jayde met TC (originally from CrazyTown) and the two began working on a demo that showcased a very unique pop/rock sound. Also, aside from her own demo Jayde started working as a demo singer for different songwriters and producers. In early 2010 Jayde formed the pop/rock group Leonis Lux and soon afterwards realized that pop/rock wasn't the musical direction she wanted to pursue. She left the group and spent the next few months songwriting and experimenting with different sounds. In March Jayde saw Sketch Williams perform at Musexpo and was immediately impressed. Shortly thereafter Jayde contacted Sketch and they have just recently finished producing Jayde's new album "Empress".
