Jay Dillinger

Jay Dillinger, born Marlon Williams had an early start in music. Inspired by his father’s service in the military to never quit gave Jay Dillinger an edge most young men didn’t have. Coming from humble beginnings, moving all around the world and hearing music from so many different cultures has molded him into a music machine.

In the 7th grade he gained a buzz for his freestyle skills during passing classes with his fast delivery and catchy word play. With his insane syllable structure and mix of harmonizing on the spot he gained everyone’s ear. Through talent shows and small battle competitions he was soon approached by IWP (I Witness Platinum) of Warner Records for his first record deal in the 8th grade.

As Jay Dillinger’s skills in football granted him a full athletic and academic scholarship at Big XII Texas Tech University Jay still pursued music. While being a starting Outside Linebacker as a true freshman he was still able to release 3 mixtapes. On each mixtape he completely wrote mixed and mastered every track with several tracks of his own production.

Jay Dillinger quickly gained respect for his rapping with his radio singles “It’s Whatever” and “Ride With U” played locally. With his emotional realism in music and story telling he has branded himself to be a very influential part of music. Formely known as K.O.S. & JDash, he has finally found his brand in music with life metaphors that display his everyday life from living the dream while playing football to losing it all for his music as JAY DILLINGER.
