Biography

Im originally from Tampa, FL but have spent most of my life in Georgia. I have grown up around a wide variety of music and have been singing since I was a small child. I recorded my first CD titled "Questions in the night" in 2005 and performed with my band in several locations around metro Atlanta. Shortly after its release, Sirius Satellite radio picked it up and currently has "Questions in the night" and "Real" in airplay rotation. Im still a full-time paramedic with Grady Health System-Saving lives is my day job. I decided to record my music after reaching my peak in my career. It was time to put everything to music. My band is high energy and we have lots of fun performing. My influences are Gwen Stephanie, Sheryl Crow, and Shania Twain. What sets my music apart from everyone else is a wide variety of sound. There is something for everyone in my music.

Lyrics

Outsider

Written By: Trish Murphy

V1:
What’s it like to be, on a downhill side
I’m still on the other side and I’m finding it so hard that I just stop trying
I’m so ordinary, when you look at me
Nothing really good or very bad has ever happened to me
And it feels like nothing matters anymore
As I open up this door

Chorus:
I’m still on the outside looking in
Hello these are my would be friends
Who all say you look fine to me
But I’m not what I seem to be
Do not trust what you see

V2:
It’s getting close to free, and I’m wasting time
I must be out of my mind to be waiting for the worst to come and find me
Has anybody seen my better side
Or seen me from the inside looking out on all I try to leave behind
And it feels like I don’t matter anymore
And I can’t get through this door

Chorus repeat:

I’m still on the outside, looking in (repeat until fade)

Questions in the night

Written By: Garrison Leykam

V1:
It’s three o’clock in the morning
And I’m watching you sleep
Asking myself the questions
About the secrets you keep
Can you feel my arms around you
Holding you so tight
If I could see inside your dreams
Would my guesses be right

Chorus:
Too many lies too many alibis
Too many questions in the night
Can’t find an answer that’s right No No
Too many questions in the night

V2:
I don’t know what I’m gonna do
I feel your love slipping through
This change has taken a hold of me
Don’t like knowing what I can’t see
Just tell me something I can believe
Set me free from these thoughts I weave

Chorus repeat:

V3:
It’s four o’clock in the morning
And I’m watching you sleep
Asking myself the questions
About those secrets you keep
Can you feel my arms around you
Holding you so tight
If I could see inside your dreams
Would my answers be right

Chorus repeat:

Too many questions in the night (repeat until fade out)

Real

Written By: Tim Acres

V1:
I’m sorry baby, for the look upon my face
You shouldn’t see me like this, all erased
The strongest part of me has gone away
Now I’m no good for talking to, talking to today

Chorus:
Something real is all I want
Something good to be apart
Take me in, I’m getting lost
Something good is all I want

V2:
I could tell you about a man who holds the world
On his broken shoulder blades he counts the days
It takes so long to build what seconds can destroy
Now I’m standing here in a daze among the ruins of my joy

Chorus repeat:

Bridge:
Oh….where is the sun, I need the break of day for once
Oh….where is the sun I need the break of day for once

Guitar solo:

Oh….where is the sun, I need the break of day for once

Chorus repeat:

Something real is all I want
