Bio
Jay Laura began composing his own music at the age of 16. His musical aspirations led him to the Berklee College of Music in Boston and a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Engineering and Production. After graduating Berklee, Jay embarked on the music scene in Southern California performing with his own band the Phantom Image. Besides playing live shows, Jay has produced various alums in his studio Black Smoke Gallery. Along with his own work, Jay continues to record and produce musicians. Jay prides himself in being the complete package: songwriter, vocalist, instrumentalist and producer. His music can be accessible through many venues. He has licensed music out for film and TV, and continues building a beautiful catalog of recordings. Now solo Jay is determined to make his mark on the world.
