Jay Mixx was born in Charleston,S.C. He began writing lyrics at the age of 15. Growing up in rural S.C. there wasn't a big scene for rap but Jay and childhood friend Juice began to do bedroom recording sessions of themselves rapping over loops and instrumentals. With no knowledge of how to take things to another level. This continued for years. After moving to Jacksonville,Fl in 2000 Jay was signed by local rap lable Bangem Entertainment and featured on a compilation"Bangem Where We Hangem &Slangem The Saga Continues". Also recording a lot of other songs with the label before they went under.Then in 2011 Jays little brother Dat Nigga Nash and himself started So Jack Ent. along with some friends. Jay took on the responsibility of taking this entity into the forefront of rap music in Charleston,S.C. and they have been number 1 on Revernations Rap charts for months. In doing this Jay also began RapLife Muzik movement and began RapLife Music and Production in Jacksonville,Fl. Jay Mixx is a prolific writer and rapper and is bound to be a mover in the game.
