Bio
Lyrical visionary, Jayo Felony, is back on the scene representing San Diego, California and the West Coast; bringing his new beats and original style to the world of hip-hop. Jayo has been working non-stop recording his new album that will include songs featuring Lil Wayne and Lloyd, with production from Eminem.
Jayo Felony signed with the late Jam Master Jay and JMJ Records, which was affiliated with the powerhouse Def Jam Records. Jayo landed spots on the critically acclaimed "Jason's Lyric" soundtrack in 1994 and the platinum-plus "The Show," as well as "The Nutty Professor" and "Rush Hour" soundtracks less than a year later.
Jay's first two albums: "Take a Ride," released in 1995 and "Whatcha Gonna Do," featuring DMX and Method Man, which was released in 1998, both quickly became West Coast favorites. Since then, Jayo has performed as an in-demand guest on albums with LL Cool J, Scarface, Ja Rule, Above the Law, E-40, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Krupt, Spice-1, Warren G, Mac 10, and WC, of the Westside Connection.
In 2001, Jayo went independent and released "Crip Hop," selling more than 40,000 units- quite impressive for an independent release.
