Jay Phillips is the King of Hip Hop Comedy. A Washington D.C. native, Jay is one of the funniest and hardest working comics on the circuit. Jay moved from D.C. to Baltimore when he landed the job as host of the morning 102.7 The Beat. Jay was awarded Baltimore Comic of the Year in 2000 and again in 2002. Jay has been featured on Comic View, Loco Comedy Jam and The Late Show with Craig Kilbourne.
Jay performs regularly at the Laugh Factory, Improv and the Ice House comedy clubs. His other projects include a starring role in the impendent film Unbeweavable. The film was featured at the Baltimore Black Film Festival and was shown at the American Black Film Festival in Miami.
