Bio
Jay Rosenberg grew up performing in the Tampa Bay area. Coming from a musical family he sang in the sunday school choir, he sang in school, he even sang in the corner when his mother put him there for a ‘time out’. It shouldn’t be a surprise that he ended up on American Idol or that at age nineteen, he won the competition for the Tampa Bay Idol. He received a great deal of local media attention in 2004 and was asked to perform the national anthem at a Tampa Bay Bucs football game, a great honor for a local boy. Jay still volunteers at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, where he sings for the kids whenever he can. He believes that his gift is his voice, a gift that he cannot ignore and a gift he wants to share with as many people as possible.
