Jay Rano is an up and coming Hip-Hop artist and rapper from New Rochelle, NY. Although he has been an active artist for three years, Ranos, superior song writing ability, unmatched delivery, and captivating beats reflect the fact that he has been involved with music for nearly all twenty-one years of his life. While Jay Ranos music and style has been influenced by a multitude of artists, he has been described as a wondrous combination of the skillful flows and delivery of Jay-Z and the charismatic and entrancing style of Drake, but as possessing the lyrical genius of both hip-hop heavyweights.
In 2011, Jay Rano began a hip-hop collective that operates under the name One Wing Angels, of which he is the leader. Jay Rano has since, completed two solo projects, the Love Always EP in 2012 and the Be There Soon EP. Today, Love Always not only continues to prove a fan favorite, but is still viewed as one of the most honest and moving bodies of lyrical music work that listeners have claimed to have experienced. Be There Soon was mid-September of 2013 in anticipation of Ranos debut mixtape, Have A Safe Trip to be released in 2013. Each of these compilations puts his lyrical prowess as well as superior rapping skills on display. Jay Ranos music has done well in capturing the attention of his listeners, receiving hearty responses from those it reaches. Rano has also released five music videos amassing more than 125 thousand views collectively.
Being a talented performer, and knowing how to grip a crowds attention, Rano is looking to gain many more performances in the coming months. He has, to date performed at a number of shows at several different venues. Jay Rano has been a part of performances such as the Rock Yo Face show at the University Caf in Stony Brook University and the Backstreet Open Mic performances at the Backstreet Gallery in New Rochelle, NY, as well as a large rap showcase in Orlando, FL.
Jay Rano is generating quite a buzz in Greater New York and the surrounding areas, and he is looking to become a household name. His current progression ensures that he is to be a notably prominent member of up and coming artists in the hip-hop game, a position that he is looking to take on very soon.
