Jay-Roc is a legendary Breaker/B-Boy who wanted to get rid of his Background Dancing Status in the Business. By co-producing Music, teaming up with well-known HipHop producer Jakebeatz, he made himself independent as an Artist. His mission is to free B-Boying from its dependence from Music Acts and DJ's and improve the Business Status of the forgotten Child of HipHop. The B-Boy Hustle stands for the Struggle B-Boys and Dancers in General go through.
The philosophy of the Jay-Roc is comparable to the Philosophy of Oldschool HipHop: Working hard for Fame, Positive Message, Competition and Battle, Creativity.
2012 is going to be an important year for the Band: With more the 5 million views on Youtube, 8 Battle of the Year Soundtrack appearances since 2003 and a feature with Bronx HipHop legend KRS-ONE, the b-boy team is back! Since Spring 2011, Jay-roc & Jakebeatz are working on the new and
upcoming Album "STAND FOR SOMETHING". The first
single "AS WE PROCEED 2012" is in stores now. The Mission continues.
