Bio
From the big sky wilds of the great state of Montana comes the guitar blues stylings of Jay Snow. Jay has tamed that bucking Stratocaster to cry music steeped in the traditions of Buddy Guy, Elmore James, and Albert King. Jay started playing at the age of 5 with the guidance and influence of his grandfather and he started sneaking into clubs to gig at the age of 15. For the past 17 years the influences of Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson and Hound Dog Taylor have percolated through Jay’s original music. Calling Western Colorado home, Jay has played with the likes of John Hunter, Percy Strothers, and Phillip Walker. Recently Jay toured with Joey Fender and the 55's across the West stopping in Sturgis to play the World Famous Knuckle Saloon.
