Jazzage is defined as the artful application of musical Jazz sounds to the auditory apparatus and soul via vocal and instrumental flow! Jazzage is available as soloist on piano & voice, with bass as duo, or trio with bass and drum set.

Biography

Jazzage is a refreshingly unique blend of Jazz with original flavor! Jazzage is musician - pianist & vocalist, composer, arranger, lyricist and educator. Her hip, tastefully provocative originals range stylistically from a standard/contemporary Jazz sound to more Gospel with some Hip-hop flavored interpretations. Divinely inspired . originals include themes of: beauty & truth, relationships, love/self-love, faith, trust, grieving, loss and HIV awareness. Performance preference is as a trio with self-accompanied voice, bassist and drum set. Jazzage is a several time ASCAPLUS award recipient, and continues to develop her song portfolio. In addition to being musically adept, Jazzage is also a licensed Massage Therapist. Jazzage has performed on venues including: Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, Dartmouth College Hopkins Center for the Performing Arts, University of Massachusetts Amherst Bowker Auditorium and Bezanson Recital Hall, at Fundacion Valparaiso in Mojacar Pueblo, Spain and on the late great Dr. Billy Taylor's Jazzmobile in Harlem's Morningside Park.
