Bio

Atlanta Native Corey Batey started his musical journey at the tender age of 14, playing the piano, organ, and drums at his church. During his high school years he added percussion and brass to his vast instrumental list. Later he received a music scholarship to attend Morris Brown College, where he recieved his B. A. in Music Education. Corey's career has led him to accompany such musical greats as Jean Carne, Outkast, Lil John and the East Side Boys, Sandra Hall, Silk, and Brick.

As Bob describes it, he began playing bass out of necessity. He and his friends were all playing guitar. Somebody had to play bass, and Bob jumped at the chance. Smart move. He loved and took to it right away. Since that time in the early 70s, Bob has become a versatile bass player that enjoys and appreciates many musical styles. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Bob has played many stages with numerous groups as part of the Atlanta music scene. His primary musical focus over the past few years has been traditional jazz and jazz-influnced pop and funk.

Roderick Breland is a native of Gulfport, Mississippi, where he began playing the drums at an early age. By the age of 12 years old, Roderick was a full time musician at First Missionary Baptist Church of Hansboro in Gulfport, Mississippi. Roderick also played with various choirs around the Gulf Coast, including The United Male Chorus and The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Choir. Roderick also shared the stage with the Gospel Keynotes, while he played with the opening act for this concert. Roderick credits his passion for the drums to his father and several other great drummers. At an early age, his father purchased a drum set and introduced him to gospel and funk music. This sparked a major hunger for the skill, and Roderick began practicing the drums. Roderick continues to perform with Jazz By Moonlight, One with the Bullet, and other artists around Metro Atlanta. He also plays at a local Church in Atlanta, Georgia. With the major hunger for skill still embedded in his soul, Roderick continues to utilize his talent and someday anticipate becoming a full time musician.

Nichollé is extremely humbled and excited to have the opportunity to share her gift of song with the world as she invites you to hear the truth while she lets go and let you in! Nichollé was constantly surrounded by music as her father, a gifted vocalist himself, filled her home with the sounds of such legends as Shirley Bassey, Stevie Wonder, Jerry Butler, Otis Redding and many more. Her parents knew she had the gift of song from the numerous times she’d sing “One in Million Chance of a Life Time” while potty training! Think you seen her face before? Sure you have! Perhaps you caught a glimpse of her as a teen as she took Atlanta by storm by successfully competing in a host of competitions. Nichollé appeared on Good Day Atlanta where she was recognized for winning the “Fame LA” screen test that took her Santa Monica for a potential role on the television series. Nichollé credits her most memorable experience in the All-American Grammy Jazz Choir where she represented the state of Georgia in NYC. While in NYC, she performed at the famous Cotton Club, recorded at the Hit Factory and earned scholarships to various schools of music including Berklee College of Music. Nichollé represented the state of Georgia once again as she was crowned Miss Georgia Talented Teen. As Miss Georgia, Nichollé graced the stage of the world renowned Apollo Theatre in NYC, she also sang at various charities, galas, fund raisers, churches and the opening of the Georgia Assembly where she sang the National Anthem. Nichollé received her formal training at Spelman College under the tutelage of Joe Jennings and Audrey Shakir. Nichollé credits her family for their tireless love and relentless support! Nicholle is currently recording original material and looking to release her album on a independent label later this year!
