Bio
Jazzedelics is the brainchild of singer/percussionist Tony Jones and guitarist Doug Perkins based on a simple premise: what if the seminal rock giants of the 60s had written their songs in a jazz framework?
To bring this idea to life, they needed the talents of Larry Steen on electric and upright bass (Stevie Wonder, Dave Weckl, Steve Vai, Eric Marienthal, Mose Allison, Bob Sheppard, Bennie Maupin), Chris Smith on keyboards (Jefferson Starship, Supremes) and David Anderson on drums (Larry Carlton, David Benoit, Stanley Clarke, Chaka Khan).
With music from Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Animals and others, Jazzedelics is a mash-up band that will excite audiences looking for something familiar but out of the ordinary.
