Jazz 'n Roll

Jazz 'n Roll

A unique musical experience which brings together the worlds of jazz and pop. Jazz 'n Roll impart new interpretations to well-known pop and rock songs through jazz arrangements.

Jazz 'n Roll have a unique concept - they arrange pop and rock hits in true jazz spirit. The arrangements are written with consideration for the lyrics, to give them a new meaning. For this, Jazz 'n Roll use the full spectrum of the jazz world – from Swing and Bebop to Gospel and Salsa.

One of Jazz 'n Roll's main goals is to appeal to both jazz enthusiasts and to newcomers to jazz. To jazz enthusiasts the appeal lies in a tight, captivating performance, while jazz newbies can anchor their ear on the melody and lyrics of the songs they know.

Jazz 'n Roll's repertoire includes the songs of artists such as: Nirvana, The Doors, Britney Spears, U2, The Jackson 5 and Metallica.

Since Jazz 'n Roll was founded two years ago, the band has performed in all the major jazz clubs in Israel, has been given a significant amount of airplay on Israel's leading radio stations, has been accepted to several festivals (Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, Globus Jazz Festival) and has received excellent reviews.

Furthermore, Jazz 'n Roll have hosted several leading Israeli jazz artists, such as Ilan Salem and Nitzan Ein Habar.
