"Jackie Lee in concert tomorrow at Music in the Park"

Jackie Lee in concert tomorrow at Music in the Park

The City Of Perrysburg and the Perrysburg Area Arts Council present Mrs. Jackie Lee in concert at Music in the Park this Thursday. July 17, at 7 p.m., at Woodlands Park.
Jackie Lee is a native Toledoan who now divides her time between Chicago and Toledo. She performed with her Motown group, InTouch, at last fall's Harrison Rally Days in down¬town Perrysburg. She per¬formed last year and this year at Toledo's Taste of the Town, and will be per¬forming on August 8, at the Toledo Museum of Art "It's Friday" and on August 9, at the Rib-Off. She also per¬forms regularly at the Toledo Club.
Jackie Lee's forte is jazz. She says she considers Ramona Collins as her mentor. Ms. Lee began singing at the age of 13.
At the Music in the Park concert, she will perform jazz and love songs accompanied by her husband, Harold, on keyboard, and Gordon Henry on bass.
Ms. Lee and her husband, Harold, have five children. She is the artist of the family, and he is the technology expert. They are proud of all their children, and particularly proud that one of them just graduated from West Point.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. In the event of rain or stormy weather, the con-cert will move to the Schaller Building, 130 West Indiana Avenue.
The next Music in the Park concert will feature the Toledo Opera Singers on August 7.

Discography

Music is a universal language the sound can be felt by everyone, young or old. It has no barriers, it knows no boundaries. Music is a beautiful gift from God above. It soothes the soul, and it is therapeutic for the mind, body, and spirit. I have and I will always desire to continue to reach the hearts and souls of people through the gift of song, especially our senior citizens, veterans, and disabled, as well as the sick and shut in.
