JB, a Detroit native, has honed a most extraordinary vocal dexterity and showmanship into a soul-piercing sound that soothes the weary heart and bristles the unbridled passions. Currently a junior in college, John travels extensively for solo performances and with the University choir. His earliest passion for performing came at his father’s church and was further ignited when he received a full scholarship to the William J. Hunter Performing Arts Academy, in Detroit. He has since appeared as a volunteer for numerous fundraisers, hospitals, and schools, sharing his heart-felt melodies and dynamic energy to reach listeners-everywhere. The 21 year-old phantom co-hosted a weekly variety show in Grambling, LA at a local night club and jazz bar. Currently residing in Columbus,Ohio he continues to inspire lovers of music at plays and variety shows; he's appeared as an guest artist for Trey Songz, Nivea, Bobby Valentino, Young Bloodz, City High, Wyclef Jean,T-Pain,Young Buck, Tank, and Ruben Studdard.However, as the son of a preacher, JB is never far from his spiritual roots.
