album under his name and a tribute to the African continent.With contributions from
splendid West African vocalists, the saxophonist proposes a jazzy Mandingo stylethat
bridges African, jazz, electro and funk music. Generous and moving.

Biography

Jean Baptiste Dobiecki, alias jb moundele n’ dombi, is a saxophonist and a composer, a producer often on tourwith Tiken Jah Fakoly, he soaks for a long time in the Afro sound, the jazz, the funk, the electro music and is an enthusiast of the mandingue and African music.... He buys his first one sax in 18 years, take lessons mjc there, becomes integrated into small local groups, begins with the piano bar then the small stages. In 24 years he(i decides to make hisjob and works more seriously the practice of the instrument and attends class in schools of jazz, IMFP in Salon de Provence then ARPEJ in Paris. He is quickly a member of more serious groups and begins to turn and to record with Raoul Petite, Nam in the region of Avignon, then meeting after a small bend by New York, the African music in Paris.
It is the beginning of numerous collaborations and experiences with Ivory Coast Tiacoh Sadia drummer of Salif Keita, Mory Kanté, Eric Lelann he also works in formations funk, jazz, Brazilians, acid jazz . He also worked with Gino Sitson, Roger Kom, Richard Epesse, Nam, Jack Sélé, (Cameroon) Gassandji, Extra Musica ( Congo), Tiacoh Sadia, Beta Simon, Hass Keïta (quotation of ivory) Lyricson, Rubens Santana, Natalia Maria King, pf Crusade, black pyramid, Les Etoiles, Raoul Petite, Beat Assaillant, Ismaël Isaac, and registered recorded numerous albums albums.... He turns so also with his own groups and projects; JB collective Groove (acid jazz), n " jb (Afro jazz) and the trio Ultimate K (electro music jazz) at present two albums produced and realized by JB is ready; Toubabou Farafin, groove mandingue with magnificent artists singers and musician of western Africa met during tours and African, Suites Africaines nujazz acoustic duets balafon sax and cora sax.; with Adama Condé balafon Guinea Conakry play with Mory Kanté, Sekouba Bambino; Kandia Kouyaté cora, Guinea Conakry.
At present on tourwith Tiken Jah Fakoly and Suites africaines….
