"J.B. Tenney Featured at The GAP"

J.B. Tenney was featured at the "Born To Share" Event sponsored by GAP in Long Island City, NY on Thursday, August 20th, 2009.

J.B. Tenney performed at the largest-ever simultaneous live acoustic music event, hosted by GAP, and now has the opportunity to win an album produced by John Alagia. John has produced albums for artists including Dave Matthews Band, Emmylou Harris, David Gray, Ben Folds Five, O.A.R., Edwin McCain, Vertical Horizon, Jason Mraz, Unwritten Law and Grammy winner John Mayer. Collectively his work has sold millions of records.

On August 20, 2009, every Gap store in the U.S. and Canada hosted an exclusive, live acoustic music night to celebrate Gap’s 40 years of heritage in jeans and music.

This intimate performance opportunity allowed J.B. to play at a GAP store in New York, get a few free pair of GAP jeans, connect with his local fan base and more importantly, gain new fans and lots of exposure by performing at a buzz-worthy event.

GAP has more than 30,000 employees who invited over 300,000 friends and family to these exclusive events.

GAP’s ties to music go back to its first store in San Francisco that opened 40 years ago selling jeans and records. Today, GAP continues to connect with people through music.

J.B. joined already committed artists Matt White, Lenka, Single File and Ellis Hooks as they helped GAP celebrate four decades of great fashion and music, and was part of the largest-ever simultaneous live acoustic music event.
