It's a Family tradition with J.C. & Water Walkers! This band was formed on the west coast in the 70's and handed down to a younger generation. Leadin' from the black and whites of a B3 & Keys, Rick Jones carries on the tradition with a lineup of local talent in a thriving music community of Colorado. Open and convincing, this assembly of talented musicians recorded a "live" radio broadcast at KRFC 88.9FM Ft. Collins, CO on March 31st, 2010. From biker bars to fundraisers, J.C. & The Water Walkers are no strangers to the stage. Currently based out of Denver, the band is well integrated in the Front Range music scene and has recently been well-received both in Colorado mountain towns and other western states. Embodying a true blues-rock feel, J.C. & The Water Walkers provide an ambiance that will keep you Rockin!
Going back to the 70's in Portland Oregon, The Water Walkers were just a few friends who wanted to share the spirit of Rock & Roll with the masses.
A Rock & Roll Band origianlly started by his uncle, the Water Walkers played the music circuit in Portland Oregon, playing at clubs and coffee shops. They had a sound & energy that was likened to The Faces, Bad Company, The Stones & The Allman Brothers, and were loved by audiences wherever they went, and they left people wanting more! It's been over 30 years since The Water Walkers began to show the world how Rock n Roll should be played, and now they're back with a vengeance! Leadin' from the black and whites of a B3 & Keys, Rick Jones carries on the family tradition with a lineup of local talent in a thriving music community of Colorado. With a list of extremely talented musicians, who each have played at the national level, they bring a combination of talent, musicianship and originality to the mix!
They're hittin' spots all along the Front Range, as well as Utah, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, New Mexico & beyond!
