Bio
For years Josh and Chris have played in bands rocking Boston and New England. Luck would bring them together about 3 years ago when they started playing for the same country rock band. The pair instantly drew on each others strengths and when Josh parted ways with the band, Josh and Chris starting writing songs together. With life as inspiration, they wrote songs envisioning a band that could touch upon anyone's experiences---from growing up in a blue collar town, to love, to drinking beer with good friends, and the trouble that we all get into. That band is J.C. YOUNG.
The vision of the band included more than just the two of them. They wanted to bring in a solid female vocalist. Kellie Jane (Chris's sister) came to the band and was the only choice for them. Her high end harmonies and lead vocal abilities coupled with Chris and Josh's middle driving lead vocals and guitar sounds made for the perfect fit. After finding the solid rhythm section of Keith Sullivan and Tim Baumann, J.C. Young came together to create melodic southern rock mayhem that only fuels the souls urge to party...
