"Westminster College"

"I really enjoy JD's music. From the lyrics to the music, it is great. Since JD was a student at Westminster and booked this type of entertainment, he knows the process of getting the student group to review bands and then offering them an opportunity to perform. As a programmer, you cannot go wrong booking JD."
-Camille Hawthorne
Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Westminster College - Review/Testimonial

"University of Delaware"

"JD was awesome, and everyone loved his performance. He tried to get the audience involved, which is hard to do in a cafeteria setting, but he did it very well. The volunteers who worked on the event with me said that it was a pleasure to work with him and that he was really sweet. We hope to have him back next year some time too!"

Bio

Amidst todays throng of singer-songwriters, something makes JD Eicher of Youngstown, Ohio, stand out. His polished musicianship, his lighthearted and engaging stage presence, that striking honesty in his voice all these things play a role. Its so important to me that I believe in the words Im singing and that I connect with the audience, says Eicher. The past several years have found him on the road making those connections. His touring continues in 2013 with the latest, critically acclaimed record, Shifting, and a new full-length set for release this fall. Colleges, universities, festivals, fairs, and countless other venues stand among the hundreds of shows Eicher already has under his belt, and hes opened for Coldplay, Hot Chelle Rae, Dave Matthews Band, Cartel, and many more along the way.
