J.D. Funk

The master of multi generes J.D. Funk has constantly set himself one step ahead of you average run of the mill DJ, knowen for his ability to mix Funky Breaks/Nu School Breaks,/Funky House/US & UK Hardhouse/Drum N Bass/Rock and Hip-Hop, J.D. Funk is knowen for mixing no less than 3 generes during a set, along with his ability to mix many different styles of music, J.D. is also knowen to let out a turntables mentality when stepping to the decks from his behind the back scratches to his beat juggling and other various tricks you can be assured to have your body moving and groving.

For the last 4 years J.D. Funk has been tearing up dances floors , originally starting his carrer in Seattle Washington, and know living in Baltimore MD, J.D. has played shows in WA,OR,CA,NY, along side such DJ’s like Dj Irene, Frankie Bones, X-dream, Pishposh, Omar Santana, Exodus, Micro to name just a few.

Since getting involved in music at the age of 13 J.D. Funk aka Jeremy Barry, has done numerous things with music from playing drums in junior high and high school to transforming into a mobile DJ, then into a Club Dj, until finally in 2000 he was introduced into the rave scene and then from there on he focused all his energy into Techno music.

Since stepping into the underground scene J.D. has constantly strived to be the best at what he does, his drive and devotion to the music and the fans is what J.D. prides himself on claimed by many as one of the hardest working djs around, you can never know what to expect. J.D. has been knowen for giving everything he has to the music with plan to release his first “Real” cd that he plans on duplicating and has been promoting himself titled “The 1st Dimension” wich will include multiple generes or music mixed like only J.D. can do along with mixes of original tracks and remixes J.D. has been working on, along with working hard on bookings to back the release of the cd wich include stops in NC,Wa,Id,NY among a few of the places. J.D. has been working hard at what he does and is always constantly trying to set new standards in the music world not only will he be releasing his cd but J.D. is also working hard in the studio producing original tracks.

J.D. Funk plans to take his carrer to the next level with hopes of releasing orginal tracks in the near future among many things, J.D. has already been affiliated with someone of the biggest promoters in Seattle and now all over, including being on an active roster with Adrenaline Am. You can expect to see a lot from this up and coming DJ as he continues to work hard at paving the way for others by breaking the limits and doing things that not many DJ’s dare to do.
