Joshua David

Joshua David is a Composer, Arranger, Producer, Singer- Songwriter and Keyboardist from Stockton, CA. He leads a music collective called Current Personae and all of its facets; the largest one to date being the CP Universe which includes a string orchestra, brass, and woodwinds along with the core band. Joshua David has played in venues all over the U.S. such as the Blue Whale in LA, Columbia City Theater in Seattle, to the Fillmore Jazz Fest in San Francisco, the Camel in Richmond, VA, Silvana in New York City, and many more.

His style varies, but one he is most involved in as of now is what he calls “Cinema Soul.” Two of Joshua's bands have opened for India Arie, and Anthony Hamilton respectively. Some of his other musical ventures include being the Director of the Zion Academy of Music, Music Director and string arranger for Aubrey Logan’s album "Impossible," string and background vocal arranger for Jackie Gage's album "Siren Songs”, and Co-Producer and for The Hebrew Project alongside Dumisani Washington, his father. Joshua’s most recent project includes arranging original music by Aubrey Logan for the Boston Pops along with other symphonies.
