J-Dogg

J-DOGG AKA Rasod was born in 1978 and was always in a family of musically talented people. He learned to play a full set of drums at the age of three by his father; who started playing in the church. J-DOGG started learning about the rap culture and how to work it by reading poetry in elementry school. Rhyming with poetry became unique to him; which made him able to write his own rhymes. As time progressed, he graduated from central high school. During this period he began recording in a studio for the first time. As time moved on he began making his own beats; which he usually used drum machines and keyboards. At that particular time, performances were not involved. Thereafter he was able to form a group called Poetic Lordz. The group then began writng, making beats and were in the studio often.The first thing J-DOGG accomplished was producing a EP; which was locally in stores in omaha, nebraska in 1999; this is also where he was born and grew up. The EP sold out! Things continued as far as staying in the studio,writing and also doing some performing while the album was being produced.J-DOGG was doing quite a bit of promoting for the album, while the EP was selling. In the year 2000, Mandatory Situations album was released; but only in the state of nebraska. At the same time, J-DOGG and the Poetic were working on their second albm. Through all of the efforts the group dissolved. which is the main reason he became a solo artist. And is now working and doing his own material. His first solo album is being worked on right now and is called JD's Revenge; which will be released at an unknown date. His main focus is production and networking. One of J-DOGGs influence's is Twista.
