From Boston (but now a new resident of Portland, Maine), I'm a singer/songwriter who has loved and performed music for years. After studying classical piano as a kid, then classical vocal performance and Broadway musicals as a teen and in college, I later followed my true passion and hooked up with Boston ska band "Agent 13" as lead singer. Four years later, marriage got the better of me, and for a time I lost my connection to performing, studying and writing music. Thankfully, however, I reclaimed my passion in the last several years, gathering together an amazing team of musicians in 2003 -- along with fellow songwriter and dear friend Alex Ashline -- to record "Don't Get Me Started," my first solo CD. With luck, this will be the first of many CDs to come.

For me, music is a deep-seated energy that drives me in every way, in every aspect of my life. It's a wonderful, powerful catalyst that has changed the course of history and has altered the lives of millions. It shapes how we live, think, act and love in this world. It’s one of the few common threads that unite us all, cutting across all barriers regardless of race, place, circumstance and time. From my perspective, there is nothing better.
