Jean Mazzei, songwriter/front woman for the band Flying Venus (www.sonicbids.com/flyingvenus) tries to push the envelope of her imagination through songwriting, painting, and singing. Her lyric driven songs contain stories and images from daily life, as well as her dry wit laced with poignancy.
Musical influences range from B52s to Joan Baez. If she were to become a groupie, she would pick Joni Mitchell. Diversity welcome.
