Lyrics

Fine

Written By: j.e.borgen

FINE

Do I dare to steal you away from this place
Do I dare to give advice I'd never take
For this was not my fault but it may be my mistake
To dare and say I've found heaven in this place

And it's fine, so fine, and we're fine, so fine. Here where we lie.

Dare that I'd ever climb bereft of your hand
Dare that I'd ever speak of odd circumstance
For I can say that this was not my approach but it may be where I land
And I am tickled to say that dare here I've found heaven in here hand

And it's fine, it's fine, and we're fine, so fine. Here where we lie.

No slight offense gone unreproached/ nor small misdeed allowed to grow/ not bitterness we allow to breath for there is good in what we see and you and I will tend this field and will not let it go for it's fine, it's fine here where we lie. Here in the now where we lie all is fine.

Waiting On My Soul

Written By: J.E.Borgen

WAITING ON MY SOUL

Maybe I could address her situation, but I find I don't know where to start
So all her thoughts meander,
drunk they stain her skin and shatter
her life into parts

She's waiting on my soul,
the one I never meant to show

Now I just tripped upon the wire she set…stupid, I'm trapped and tired
of the guilt up inside
Go I must save my own
and regret to say I'm not alone
in her business or her life

She's waiting on my soul,
the one I never meant to show
She's waiting on my soul,
forever waiting as I go

I was taken for a ride
I was taken for a ride with you
I was taken for a ride I should never have made with you…No, No, No

She's waiting on my soul,
the one I never meant to show
She's waiting on my soul,
forever waiting as I go

Bring You Back

Written By: J.E.Borgen

Break on down the blue and all your parts have come unglued
and I know, woman I know.
The light's out over your street and eve befalls your warn out feet and I know the time's slow…

When you've grown too cold, waiting for these deeds to unfold
While turning back the clock
on what you know of this world,
I will bring you back

Miles from home away from the ring but you're rung right in, into the fold
and the stain-glass walls within your home they shine no more, woman that I know…

When you've grown too cold
Waiting for these deeds to unfold
While turning back the clock on what you know of this world,
I will bring you back

So we will talk it out
though you're much too proud
to open up your ache
and show me all your pain,
but I am here to mend
this wound from where it stems
a stitch to heal the woe
in your blued out soul

When you've grown too cold
Waiting for these deeds to unfold
While turning back the clock
on what you know of this world,
I will bring you back…

Back to all you know.
