Wrexham-based Jed is Dead execute rocktronic with all the riff wizardry of Matt Bellamy and the algorithmic genius of Thomas Dolby. Belting out booming, throbbing, sequenced raunch, the dreadlocked Mickey Harmina juggles guitar and sample-spewing electronic hardware. Meanwhile, the addictively charming Emily Gresham dongs her bass guitar, stomps and summons up a fierce Beth Ditto-esque vocal that seals our abandonment to their electro-popping dub groove. As support slots for Pop Will Eat Itself and Death In Vegas would suggest, watch out for this yummy twosome. - oswestry21.com

Bio
Jed is Dead (named after a friend's sinister cat) began life as a more traditional, guitar-based rock band. However, a mutual love of all things electronic soon emerged and the band began to translate their material using old sequencers and samplers. Since then, the band have been crafting their sound on the live circuit, performing at concert venues, clubs and festivals throughout the North of England and Wales.
