Jeevan D'Souza

Jeevan D'Souza ... Vocalist, Jazz Pianist, and Composer just created his newest Jazz Album "In Transition" featuring unique compositions by Jeevan D'Souza as well as original remixes of the most famous jazz songs.

A born Musician, Jeevan picked up and started learning the guitar at just the age of five in Bombay, India. During his teenage years, he expanded his study of music to include the Piano, Bass, Drums, Vocals, and Music Composition. In 2001, he moved to Texas to train in Jazz Piano and Composition with the Grammy Nominated Jazz Artist, Dr. Mike Bogle. He then moved to New York City in 2004 to study Jazz Vocals with Sofia Lazopoulou from the Berklee School of Music.

Jeevan has performed with music greats like Kirk Whalum and George Duke. He has also been featured in The Short Horn Newspaper and two of his Musical Compositions are Archived in the Architecture and Fine Arts Library at the University of Texas at Arlington.

This Artist is known not only for his uncanny ability to play any song on the Piano after hearing it just once, but also for writing and composing his own music. He performs regularly at various venues in New York City.

Fans have described Jeevan's music as "soulful"..."inspiring"..."deep"...a "Musical Genius"...the "Next Chet Baker".
