"Reviews from the Song Writer's Website - Song Ramp"

"JoDoz"
wow - exceptionally powerful lyrics are a wonderful read, and an even better listen. i applaud the intricate 12 string and the deep bass accompaniment. the strong concept is beautifully executed.

"Apathy"
(;AWESOME TITLE;)Drew me right in so glad it did.(;AWESOME LYRICS;)Well written. (;AWESOME VOCALS;)Sounding ever so good.Reminds me of early Dylan writing. The female Bob Dylan.Sounds more Rock to me than Country.Unless you want to put it in Contemporary Country which is just eary Rock in the first place.True Country is Traditional.New Country is just Rock.Just ask Alan Jackson & George Strait.the Almighty dollar killed Country Music.the lust for World wide fame slowly killed tradition. The Steel guitars no longer cry.And the fiddles barely play. With drums and Rock & Roll Guitar.Mixed right up in your face. Why the Hag wouldn't have a chance on today's radio.Well they even tell the possum to pack up and go back home.Twangier the better but this certainly ain't country not true Country.I think you have it in the right genre (Americana) to me.Enjoyed the listen.Gets my vote(;ABSOLUTELY;)Keep them coming.love it.
Your Songramp Bro.~(;Yrral Mallik;)

"Waste Case"
Some serious creativity at work here. The music is rich, and has something of an empowering feel to it, not the sad or mocking tone that would have been the easy routes. The vocal sounds terrific, and it especially has nice variety.

Bio

Marjie McKee: vocals, acoustic & electric guitars, keyboards and cello.

Marjie grew up in a musical family in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her parents, both musicians, were a strong influence in encouraging Marjie’s classical background.

They started her out on the piano "as she could reach the keys," and at age six introduced her to the Violin. At the age of nine, the Cello became her "main axe" because she loved the sound of the instrument. Around the age of ten, her parents bought Marjie her first guitar, which she learned to play by ear.

During her high school years she played Cello in her school orchestra, but was also a member of the Pittsburgh All City Orchestra. At seventeen, Marjie played her first show in the orchestra for "The Pittsburgh Savoyards," sharing a stand with her mother. She is a life-time member of that organization, and still plays with them from time to time, as time permits.

A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, she studied cello with Bob Sametini, and Guitar with Bill Purse at Duquesne University . Marjie has played in several local bands over the years including a Klesmer band call “Hutzpah,” which featured her father on the violin, her mom on keys, and her cousin Mark on the drums.

Jeff McKee: vocals and electric & upright bass, harp.

Jeff grew up in Lewistown, Pennsylvania and began playing bass at age 13. Although he played trumpet in elementary and jr. high school, he never had any formal training on the bass. Jeff played in numerous high school bands playing local dances after school sporting events. While in college, Jeff played in a successful Philadelphia based progressive rock band “Equuis.” After moving to Pittsburgh he played in several cover bands.

In the late 80’s Marjie met her husband Jeff while playing together in a country band “Lone Star.” They also played with “Roger Lee and Crossfire” and later met up with guitarist Wayne Jackson and formed “Allegheny Moonshine”. Marjie and Jeff moved to Connecticut and joined a very successful alternative and 80’s rock band “Tangled Web” playing greater Hartford venues.

After relocating back to Pittsburgh, Marjie and Jeff formed “Dreamcatcher” in 1997 and for the first time assumed the lead roles as vocalist and songwriters. Dreamcatcher was a well oiled machine gigging regional clubs for over 10 years.

Currently Marjie and Jeff diversify their musical projects and gig regularly as an acoustic duo, acoustic trio called “TRIAD”, and a 5 piece acoustic band "The Exports”.
