Bio
Jeff Dalziel is a multi-platinum record producer/arranger and songwriter based in Toronto Canada. His work has produced several Juno nominations and record sales in excess of one million units.
Jeff began his professional career as a drummer and composer of the Canadian groups Harem Scarem (Warner Music) and Britton (CBS). While performing he applied his creativity to the world of music technology and ventured into designing music software programs. As a result, Jeff became one of the first people in Canada to actively program music on these systems. A natural progression of composing music for feature films, television and major label recording artist projects followed.
Eventually, Jeff accepted the position of staff producer/arranger at Sony Music Canada where he continued to contribute his creative talent exclusively towards the Sony Music domestic roster. During this period he also accepted a world wide publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing Canada.
The recent Sony BMG Music merger has allowed Jeff to branch out to promote independent Canadian talent while still producing Major label projects.
Jeff has since become one of the most sought after freelance producers in the country.
Some of Jeff's past projects include: Thornley (Big Wreck) Chantal Kreviazuk, Esthero, Philosopher Kings, Prozzak, Project Wyze, Dead Celebrity Status (XXX State of the Union Soundtrack), Dalbello, Scratching Post, Adam Gregory, Tom Wilson, In Essence, Keshia Chante, Amanda Stott, Jacksoul, Jelleestone, Liam Titcomb, B4-4, K'naan, Canadian Idol winners Brian Melo, Melissa O'Neil, Kalan Porter, and Canadian Idol Runner-up Rex Goudie. As well, Jeff has an equally diverse list of credits for Film and Television.
