Jeff Edwards

My name is Jeff Edwards and I was Mr Gay Pride for Phoenix, AZ in 2000. During my reign I performed live throughout Arizona. I helped raise money for charities. I was also Mr Gay Arizona 1998 and 1st Alt to Mr Gay All American 1999. I was also King of Safer Sex for Project Lifeguard in 1998 in which I helped to raise over $25,000.00 that year for the community. As a theater major in college, I have performed in over 30 productions throughout California and Arizona. Music has been my life and passion. I recently sang in Bakersfield, CA on an NBC affiliate at the Buck Owens Crystal Palace, having won a contest honoring our nations troops. I was selected one of four out of hundreds vocalists and was given the opportunity to sing live on a television program called "Keep Old Glory Flying." I sang three songs on this live show and one of them was God Bless the USA. I was Mr Gay Pride 10 years ago and have yet to return to a pride in Arizona due to personal circumstances, until now. It has always been my dream to return to the state and Pride that changed my life and made me comfortable with who i am as a gay man, and perform the song God Bless the USA at the opening ceremonies and ride in the parade as I did once 10 years ago. I know it is probably a lot to ask to sing just one song, but I believe this song appeals to the masses. I have hosted shows for Barbra Seville, Celia Putty as well as many for Gay Pride, back in the day. They, as well as former board members can stand as references for my level of professionalism and vocal quality. I look forward to working with you.
