Bio

Warning! This ain't your typical singer/songwriter.

At an age when most aspiring musicians have long given up, jefferson is setting his sights high. During his late forties, he returned to his life long passion of music, performing primarily as a solo performer.

He grew up on electric guitar playing classic rock (before it was classic). Always known for a sense of melody, he gravitated to artists such as Steely Dan, and later on to contemporary and traditional jazz.

Jefferson has a degree in music and has studied jazz privately. He has been called "one of the best guitar players you will ever hear" by Luna Stage of Montclair, NJ. But technical proficiency is just a tool. His real talent is expression that comes from the touch of an artist. His guitar proficiency is well complemented by his smooth vocals.

Maybe it comes with the maturity of his age and experience, or maybe it's the fact that jefferson has spent decades being a member in someone else's group and is now driven by, and for, self. Whatever it is, when jefferson steps on stage, one immediately senses that this is someone who knows who he is and why he is on this earth.
