JEFFERSON DEATHSTAR is a Canadian funk metal band from Toronto, Ontario consisting of Jefferson Childs (Bass & Vocals), Russell Hawley (Guitar & Vocals) and Christopher Lyttle (Drums). They are characterized by their irreverent approach to music and diverse songwriting.
Drawing influence from the great, heroic crusaders -- Primus, Tool, Rush & Frank Zappa, to name a few -- JEFFERSON DEATHSTAR have set out to create an eclectic, yet thematically dark album. Each song will feature imaginative musical journeys, limited only by the inventiveness of it's creators. Inviting all listeners in with ingenious, ear-worming grooves and wicked beats.
