"Take Me Back To The Farm...by Jeff Gabriele & Stig Lindell"

I have two mixes to this song. I have a urban mix and I also have more of a rocker mix. I'm using the only vocal mic I have a Shure SM-58. I wrote the guitar riff in "D" so I sang the song in "D" but it's actually too low. I sing it in "F" but once again I need to record the lead & harmony vocal in a studio using a quality vocal mic. - Gabriele Lindell Publishing P.O. Box 417968 Sacramento, CA 95841 (916) 494-3608

"Freedom...by Jeff Gabriele"

Freedom... I still need to add the guitar tracks. The vocals were never meant to be final, they were just used as a scratch vocal. The words came to me in a dream. I woke up turned on my Mac and starting singing using my Shure SM-58 mic while sitting in my chair in my pajamas. The fact is... I don't own a decent vocal mic and I need to get down to a studio that has one. When I do, I'll add it! - Gabriele Lindell Publishing P.O. Box 417968 Sacramento, CA 95841 (916) 494-3608

Bio

Jeff Gabriele, musician, singer & songwriter.

Standing in front of a mirror at the age of 8 years old at a neighbor's house wearing my friend's older brother's over sized guitar, that's the moment I knew I wanted to be in the music business.

Growing up on a ranch in northern California I learned how to be a "real" cowboy raising cattle and all types of farm animals such as cattle, pigs, sheep, chickens, horses and even milking a cow. In addition to raising animals I also worked growing alfalfa hay, building fences, cutting firewood and moving irrigation pipes.

My spare time consisted of hunting, fishing and writing songs about everyday life. When I was growing up on a ranch there wasn't much time for television and if you did have the time there was only one channel except when it snowed then there were two".

In high school (which was a 2 hour bus ride each way) I would get with other kids that played instruments and there was always some kind of a "jam" that we would put together.

After high school I worked pouring concrete and playing music throughout northern California. Music has always been a passion of mine that stems from the core of my soul and from the bottom of my heart, it's something that's part of me. It's part of my DNA. I can't deny it. So I've decided to embrace it and take a shot at writing some songs. Most people my age go through a mid life crisis and buy a Corvette but I decided to put together a band and buy a new midi controller.
